Do I need my own equipment?
No. All gear is provided — smart vest, IR weapon, RFID wristband. Just show up.
How does the hit detection work?
Each vest has 20 piezo sensors and IR receivers mapped to body zones. Weapons fire coded infrared beams via TSAL6100 emitters. When a beam hits a sensor, the vest logs the hit, the zone, and the attacker. Kills are confirmed when HP reaches zero.
Is it like laser tag?
The technology is similar (infrared), but the experience is completely different. Hitbox League tracks detailed stats — K/D ratio, headshot rate, objective score, streaks — and writes them to your permanent profile. Think competitive FPS, but physical.
What's the minimum age?
16+. Players under 18 need a guardian to sign the waiver.
What's the difference between Public and Ranked matches?
Public matches are the default — open to everyone, stats tracked on the public leaderboard. Ranked matches are pre-scheduled competitive events with Elo rating, separate ranked boards, and bounty generation.
Can I change my callsign?
Your callsign is permanent by default — choose carefully. One-time callsign changes are available in the Store.
How does the ranking system work?
Two systems: Level (permanent, XP-based, never resets) and Rank (seasonal, Elo-driven, resets each season). The rank ladder uses Baltic mythology: Naujokas → Žvalgas → Karys → Vytis → Milžinas → Galiūnas → Žynys → Perkūnas.
What happens if I disconnect during a match?
If your vest loses connection, the arena software marks you as disconnected. Your stats up to that point are preserved. Reconnection is handled by the marshal.
Do you ship internationally?
Currently Kaunas-only. We are exploring expansion to other Baltic cities.
